Auckland Jazz Orchestra is joining forces with NZ soul divas Annie Crummer, Esther Stephens, Bella Kalolo and Aaradhna, to pay tribute Aretha Franklin, in the 2017 Auckland Arts Festival.
We will be writing and performing new big band arrangements of Aretha's music, alongside originals from the 4 singers performing.
The show will run for 3 days in the Spiegeltent, in Aotea Square, from 22-24 March.
